DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME

A long time ago, there lived a rich family who had a lazy and spoiled son named George. His parents too spoiled him. So he could be lazy and selfish. His father was a doctor and his mother was an actrees. His parents were always busy and they were never at home. He went to school in SMPN 2 Taruna Nusa.

One day, he had a chairmate named Lastri. She was a poor diligent girl. She always got best mark, but he didn’t. She always got the first rank. Before she went to school, she was asked her mother to sell her mother merchandize. If the merchandizes were not over, her mother was not allowed her to go school. That’s why, she had to wake up early morning. Her father died 5 years ago, when she was at elementary school.

In the morning, he went to Lastri’s house. Because he had homework, but he couldn’t do it. Then he arrived at her house. He knocked the door and said “ Assalamualikum?’” . Her mother answered “Waalaikumsalam.” . He asked “ Is there Lastri at home?” . “ Sorry, she is not at home. She is selling around the market. Maybe, if you want to see her, go there!.” she said. Finally, he decided to see her in the market. Then he went to market quickly. But he didn’t see her. 3 minutes later, he didn’t see her again after he looked for her. So he decided to go his home.

After he arrived at home, his mother asked him “ Where have you been?” he answered “ I have just gone to Lastri’s house, mom.” Her mother said “ Heeyy.. I don’t like if you go to Lastri’s house. She is a poor girl. She is not the same level as us. So, if you go there again, I will not forgive you!.” He answered while frown “ Yes mom.”

Although her mother has warned him over and over, he always made a friend with her. In fact, he fell in love with her. Sometimes, he helped her to sell her merchandize in rest time. Without permission, he always went to her house to play together.

5 years passed, now they were at Senior High School. But he still loved her. They went to the same school. Every morning he always took her to go to school together by his car. But his mother didn’t know that he always did. He got deeply in love with her. But he never told his love to her. She knew that his mother didn’t like her, because she was a poor girl. So he daren’t go to his house although he always took her to go to his house.

In Senior High School, she had a best friend named Catty. She was a beautiful girl. Oneday, she asked Lastri “ Lastri, do you love George?.” Lastri answered “ I don’t know. Maybe yes maybe no.” she asked her again “ Why don’t you say the truth to me? I am your best friend, I  know that he loves you very much.” she just sighed “ Hmmmm…” then she gave her some information “ George is my neighbour, he is a lazy spoiled boy, but he is cared person. So, you musn’t worry about him. You are good for him.”

Oneday, George wanted to say his love to Lastri. He got close to her “Lastri, I want you to know something.” she was confused with him, then she answered “ To know about what, George?.” He said while ashamed “ In fact, I fall in love with you since we were at Junior High School. I love you, because you’re good, beautiful, clever, helpful and unproud. Will you be my girl friend?.” she answered “ I am sorry, I can’t be your girl friend and I don’t want. I also know that your mother doesn’t like me because I am a poor girl. I don’t have anything like you.” He answered “ Lastri, wealthy isn’t anything. I don’t see you from your bad side.” Then she made sure to refuse his love “ I am sorry. Maybe be my best friend is the best way. You know that we are still young. We should prepare our self for future. Not like this, just think love, love and love. Career is necessary.”

Finally, George and Lastri be best friend each other. Till they would be success people. Then, Lastri was a doctor and George was an engineer. She never got difficulty on her economy. She had been doctor because of workhard, pray and unproudness. Lastri lived happily ever after with her mother.
